The Commercial Office of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt presents its compliments and has the pleasure to inform you that the Ministry of Transport, Egyptian National Railways Purchases and Stores Department is organizing a public external tender, with the reference no. 322G8/1751G2 on 04/06/2014, supply of spare parts for (40) EMD Locomotives Model JT42CWRM.
The tender documents could be purchased from the Purchases and Stores Department at the Railways Building, 5th floor above Shubra tunnel, Cairo at the price of 25 000 LE, or any equivalent value in foreign currency.
Regarding the technical offer, it is required to pay a provisional security deposit of 46.000 USD for mechanical spare parts and 44.000 USD for electrical spare parts.
The bids should be received at the Purchases and Stores Department not later than 04/06/2014 at 12 p.m. Cairo, local time.
