Taiwan’s cutting edge high-tech industries are now in active pursuit of experienced foreign talents with high tech capability and engineering innovation to work closely with them in their transition to the next level of technological development.
A number of Taiwan’s leadingcompanies, such as Asus, Acer, TSMC, Advantech, Chimei Optoelectronics, Franz, Giant, Jade Yacht, and others in different industrial fields, have also employed foreign talents in order to boost their product design and technology, and successfully expand to the global markets.
According to IMD’s report, “World Competitiveness,” Taiwan’s overall competitiveness is ranked eleventh in the world, its highest in recent years, being inferior in Asia only to Hong Kong (ranked second) and Singapore (ranked third). Based on the four main index analyses, Taiwan’s enterprise efficiency ranked sixth in the world.
