ONGOING PROJECTS

The Project “Forming the Network of Innovative Cross-Border Infrastructure Institutions in the Region” is funded by European Funds throught the Joint Operational Programme Romania -Ukraine-Republic of Moldova 2007-2013, Priority 1, MIS-ETC Code 1498, which Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava is involved in as a partner.

The project is implemented in the period December 2013 – October 2015. Up to now within the project it was organized the workshop “Innovation Management” – Innovative culture and stimulating of innovation performance, on 12th of September 2014 with the aim of underlining the importance of innovation culture for Small and Medium enterprises, oriented to innovation institutions, inventors and researchers and for representatives of local authorities.

In the period 13th of October to 12th of December 2014, the event “Weeks of innovation in schools and institutions of higher education in Suceava” was held, its purpose being to increase the level of innovation culture among young people and to interest them about the need for innovative development. This activity took place during 5 days, attended by 260 people, representing the Caravans and two workshops organized in the schools and high schools in the county of Suceava. The activity also included a competition of innovative ideas for business optimization engaging the creative ideas and innovational proposals of young people from 3 categories: high school students, students/master students and young researchers/PhD students.

The contest “Innovative ideas for business optimization” launched on the websites www.ccisv.ro and www.cb-innovations.org awarded each category of participants and the winning ideas were presented to business environment of Suceava and of partner countries, Moldova and Ukraine.

The project implementation envisages the increase of level of innovative culture of population for continuation and development of work on innovation. Also, it will be created a trilingual catalog of proposals and innovative ideas that will be printed in an edition of 1000 units, to facilitate the trilateral promotion of innovative products, research institutions, the small and medium enterprises and young researchers in order to find partners for their work and it will be realized a Strategy – Joint Ukrainian-Moldavian-Romanian Plan for expansion of communication and cooperation in technology transfer and promotion of innovative infrastructure in the cross-border region.

SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS BY CCI SUCEAVA

  1. The Project “Joint Business Support Centre – Instrument for Fostering Development of Entrepreneurship in the RO-UA-MD Cross-Border Area”, MIS-ETC CODE: 1934, implemented by CCI Suceava as the applicant, is funded by the European Union through the Joint Operational Romania-Ukraine-Moldova 2007-2013, priority 1. The period of implementing was September 2014 – July 2015.

The project results are:

– The Research “Identifying Training Needs in the Cross-Border Area RO-UA-MD” was conducted in Suceava – Chernivtsi-Bălți cross-border region on a sample of 320 interviewees based on the questionnaires and by applying 36 interview guides, the targeted persons being enterpreneurs and employees on top positions in the SMEs.

– Organisation of the Workshop „Vocational Training and Strategic Partnerships – A Solution for the Economic Development of the RO-UA-MD Cross-Border Area” consisted of organizing the Workshop in each region, on April 23, 2014 at Chernivtsi (Ukraine), on April 30, 2014 at Suceava (Romania) and on May 8, 2014 at Bălți (Republic of Moldova) with the participation of 205 people.

– Creating e-learning platform and web-page, the registered portal being  www.jobs-centre.eu.The e-learning platform created, http://jobs-centre.eu/ is a communication instrument allowing for the provision of a training solution by electronic means, available on-line. On this website there is a section “Companies Catalogue” where there are promoted online over 40 companies in various fields and a section “Virtual Fair” where exhibition fairs are organized online.

– Organization of the training sessions in each border region, involving 378 administrators/employees from 260 SMEs from the cross-border region Ro-Ua-Md. The trainings organized in each region were the following:

Suceava, Romania: Marketing and Commercial Strategy, Customer Relationship Management, Negotiation Techniques, Creativity and Innovation, Performance Management, Team – Development and Motivation.

Chernivtsi, Ukraine: Sales Management, Financial Management, Marketing and Commercial Strategy, Leadership, Creativity and Innovation, Decision-Making.

Bălți, Republic of Moldova: Strategic Management, Financial Management, Sales Management, Strategic Planning, Human Resources Management, Customer Relationship Management.

– Within the project was organized in each region the economic forum „Development of business partnership in the border region of Ro-Ua-Md”, which addresses both of SMEs from the cross-border region of Romania-Ukraine-Moldova, as well as the institutions and organizations that supports the activity of SMEs. 220 representatives of business environment have been present at the three events/forums in Chernivtsi, Suceava, Bălți.

– Creating of the Cross-Border Business Centre- Jo.B.S CENTRE (Joint Business Support Centre) meant the renovation and equipment of 600 square meter old attic of CCI Suceava, renovation of the building façade and creation of new parking spaces. Within the Cross-Border Business Centre it will be promoted the organization of economic forums/workshops/ symposiums/ conferences/ seminars/round tables, organization of courses/training sessions, organization of events of presentation companies, provision of space for exhibitions, the rental rooms for the events.  Also within the Business Centre there are available 9 exhibition stands for promoting companies from cross-border region.

  1. “ENTRE (pre) NEUR for performance”, co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 3.1 Promote entrepreneurial culture – SOP HRD, in which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as Partner. The project was implemented in January 2011 – January 2014, in the project 25 firms were selected in the North-East region which benefited from a program of diagnosis and organizational assistance, 10 training courses in the field of top management, at least 130 employees will participate from those 25 companies, as well as a program of assistance and managerial support for 25 selected companies to identify effective solutions necessary for the continuation and development of the activity. – http://www.ccisv.ro/antreprenor/.

The project “Entrepreneurial Development and Relations in Business (DARMA)”, co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 3.1 Promote entrepreneurial culture – SOP HRD, in which Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as Partner. The project was implemented in January 2011 – April 2014, where about 300 people were trained to develop entrepreneurial culture within the 12 courses within the project. – http://www.proiectdarma.ro/.

The project “eLife – Development of innovation, creativity, responsibility and sustainability of Romanian entrepreneurship” was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 3.1 Be an entrepreneur – SOP HRD, in which Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as Partner. This project was implemented in the period October 2011 – November 2013, where about 500 people were trained through the 8 courses organized in three sessions, which promotes entrepreneurial development. Also a total of 106 individuals have also been counseled in setting up a business and 17 companies were established as a result of this activity. – http://www.antreprenoriat-inovativ.ro/.

The project “EVA – The Era of Capitalizing Female Entrepreneurship”, was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 6.3 – Equal opportunity and respect – SOP HRD, in which the Chamber of Commerce and industry Suceava participated as Partner. The project was conducted between December 2010 and December 2013, where a total of 117 people were trained and a total of 66 people benefited from consulting to identify a job and start a business,. http://www.evaf.ro/.

The project “EIRENE”, JUST/2012/JCIV/AG/3420, was funded by the European Commission through the Civil Justice Programs, in which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as Partner. The project was conducted in the period of January 2013 – March 2014 and aimed at promoting the concept of mediation to natural and legal persons, exchanges on mediation in participating States and joint solutions. The project “FIT TO TOURISM – FIT TOUR”, was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 2.3 Qualification – a chance for the future – SOP HRD, in which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as Applicants and in which, in June 2010 – September 2012, a total of 557 people attended courses in tourism and a total of 4601 received training materials. http://www.fit-tour.ro/

The project “Regional Cooperation for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CREA)” was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, 3.1 Be an entrepreneur, in which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava participated as a Partner at first strategic regional training project in Romania (2008).
